We are currently seeking a **High Travel** Digital Key Onsite Support Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing complete firmware installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting for the Hotel's Digital Key locks
- Will need to travel to different client locations
- Work independently, managing 4-5 electronic tablets
- Interface with customer and respond to customer inquiries, Hotel engineers and Managers
- Communicate site status to engineering, and management
- Ability to travel throughout various service territories both within and out of state and travel daily from hotel to hotel as necessary
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to safely drive/operate a vehicle
- Highly motivated to work independently
- Demonstrates integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis
**Schedule, Location, Travel, and Onboarding Expectations:
- Fulltime position, so 40 hours per week, with potential for approved overtime
- Monday-Friday supporting Daytime Hours typically, with the potential for an urgent weekend request, so flexibility to adapt per client needs will be a must
- This position is a heavy traveling role (both auto and air travel) from location to location within the client's service territory
- If selected for this position you must complete and clear a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background screen, and Social Security # verification that is required
- Due to the amount of travel required, You must have good credit score (ideally 670+) standing in order to potentially qualify for specifically, a Corporate American Express Card that is required for the client travel needs
Basic Role Requirements:
- 2+ Years IT technical support experience (Specifically peripheral support, such as tablets/ipads are the main technical support experience needed for the role, however having desktops/notebooks/printers support is great to have also)
- Ability to physically perform general onsite job requirements. (Physically be able to lift and move client technology hardware in the client environment - roughly up to50+ lbs- Must be able to travel)
- A high school diploma and a valid driver's license is required
Highly Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Execute service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support) according to Managed Client Policy & Procedure Guide
- Individual should be knowledgeable of Windows operating system environment
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Solid, professional client service skills
- A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is a nice to have
