Under direction, the Equipment Planner budgets, plans, and identifies capital equipment needs for construction, remodel, and medical equipment replacement projects. Provides technical information and advice on equipment needs as it pertains to equipment standards, utilization, and pricing as well as construction, space, and scope of project. Acts as equipment planning and programming liaison officer and coordinator in relationships with academic, clinical, and administrative committees and staff members. Provides objective and consultative support to the project to include working with user departments, directors and senior leaders in identifying and creating equipment lists and budgets. The Equipment Planner prepares and/or provides supervision and periodic review of reports and documentation, i.e. equipment listings and technical datasheets for the support of major construction and remodel projects. Coordinates and/or oversees site visits, special studies, and analysis of new technology required in capital projects. Provides technical expertise and consultation in the review and budgeting of capital assets. Oversees and organizes projects for the planning, purchase, and installation of medical center capital assets. Analyzes and develops organizational and departmental procedure with recommendations for changes and improvements as required by facilities codes and regulatory agencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $94,400 - $176,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $45.21 - $84.67 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
