We are recruiting for a faculty position in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field, at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank to serve a foundational role in developing and growing new programs in emerging technology fields. Faculty are routinely expected to teach in multiple topic areas at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We seek candidates with teaching and research expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Cyber-Physical Systems
- Digital Twins
- Embedded Control Systems and Verification (Hardware-in-the-Loop)
- Machine Learning
- Quantum Computing, Sensing, Communications
- Semiconductor Devices (Simulation, Characterization, Reliability)
- Wide Bandgap Power Electronics
This is a nine-month tenure/tenure-track position. Rank will be determined at the point of hire. The anticipated start date is August 2025. The successful candidate should have an interest and commitment to teaching, scholarship, and professional service.

Minimum Qualifications |
A PhD or equivalent terminal degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field is required prior to the start date. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred candidates will have one or more of the following:
- Three years of relevant industry experience
- Professional engineering licensure and registration
- University-level teaching experience including online/distance education
- Research experience in grantsmanship, refereed publications, and undergraduate and graduate student supervision
- Expertise in multiple teaching and research areas
