GM Powertrain Lab Operations, Maintenance Supervisor
The role of the Supervisor is to ensure the proper operation of process equipment and central systems to support the Powertrain Lab as well as site operations. The Supervisor must execute their role within the Facility Management program which allows an organization to manage and oversee the operations and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate or bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Three plus years of facility management and automotive manufacturing, or industrial experience recommended. Must have strong written and verbal communication, detail oriented and must have extensive knowledge on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) Supervisor Responsibilities for the following Support Personnel Jones Lang LaSalle - Maintenance Technicians UAW Trades - Electrician, HVAC, and Machine Repair Manufacturing Process Equipment Tank Farm Operations, Reporting, Maintenance, and Repair Bulk Fluid Totes & Dispensing Equipment Compressed Bottle Gas Storage & Distribution Systems Compressed Natural Gas Facility Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers Oil Mist Collectors Cold/Hot Thermal Units Temperature, Pressure, & Dew Point Control Provide and Maintain Spare & Replacement Parts Inventories Production Process Central Exhaust Systems Class 7 Clean Room Mechanical/Electrical Systems Diagnosis & Repair Experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics Some experience with controller programs, to include JCI, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens Ability to read electrical prints and blueprints Knowledge of maintenance system such as MAXIMO/CORRIGO Mechanical Systems HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning and Refrigeration) Indoor Air Quality Temperature Control Scavenge Exhaust Systems Preventative Maintenance (Scheduled maintenance to prevent break down) Predictive Maintenance (Use of equipment or tests to predict when maintenance will be needed) General Housekeeping General Maintenance in Affected Work Areas Spill Response & Emergency Services Power Systems Normal power to first disconnect Emergency power systems Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems Building Systems Building Automation Systems Building Monitoring systems Building Utility & Piping Systems Energy Conservation Support Environmental Health & Safety Assistance Waste Removal OSHA, State, and Local Regulatory Compliance HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) Compliance Commodity Resource Management Environmental Compliance Initiatives ISO Compliance Environmental Emergency Response Measurables & Objectives: Safety Related Objectives -Client Scorecard Employee Safety Training Compliance Timely Safety Incident Reporting and Monitoring Recordable and Lost Work Day Case Injuries Overall Program - Safety PM Completion Overall Program - Safety Repair Completion Utilize Pre-Task Planning Methods Performance Measurables Perform Timely PPS / Downtime Reporting and Monitoring Help Desk Immediate Work Orders > 24 hrs Overall Program - PM Completion Overall Program - PM Repair Completion Personnel Management Ensure IPMP Compliance Requirements are met Coordinate Employee PTO/Vacation Scheduling and Coverage Maintain Employee Training Schedules & Records Attend Scheduled Training Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities (GMPT): Environmental PM Health and Safety PM Regular equipment PM - Coordinate availability with Operations FID Fuel management Bulk fluid management Respond to work orders Spare parts ordering process PM follow-up and special project management Fuel verification Fuel/Span Gas/Bulk fluid/FID verifications Actively participate in all GMS and BPD requirements On call duties Layered Audits |
