Private Duty LPN - Full-Time Day Shifts

Location: Red Bank, TN (37405)

Overview:
Adoration Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 7-year-old patient. This position involves providing care in the home and school settings, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a young patient's life.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one care for a 7-year-old patient at home and at Red Bank Middle School.
Assist with G-Tube care, transferring, and monitoring for choking precautions.
Ensure patient safety and comfort, providing compassionate and attentive care.

Certifications Required:

Active LPN license in Tennessee
Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

* Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
* Provide patient and family education according to plan as outlined by the RN
* Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
* Monitor and record intake and output, and report significant changes immediately
* Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and report any changes
* Administer medications as instructed and ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN
* Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service education programs, as assigned

Qualifications

* Active LPN license in good standing
* Previous home health, private duty, skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
* Ability to build rapport with patients and family members
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Reliable transportation or valid driver's license with current automobile insurance
