What part will you play? Under general direction, the Configuration & Commissioning Manager is responsible for facilitating procedural adherence through developing the regional team, managing scheduling and coordination efforts, and creating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders within the designated region. What will you be doing? Procedural Adherence:
- Effectively implement standardization changes in alignment with company goals by maintaining responsibility for process improvement, coaching and counseling, and day-to-day management in addition to identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential process improvements.
- Monitor patterns within department issues and client complaints; reduce recurring issues through regularly auditing work completion and customer service to ensure all standards are met and that work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
- Engagement and management of SOPs to increase productivity and customer service by resolving internal and external barriers and obstacles that prohibit successful goal achievement.
Regional Team Development:
- Develop a motivated, professional, regional workforce by assuring training, development, and performance that achieves career objectives in support of future growth by using a cooperative leadership style that empowers and motivates staff with appropriate recognition and feedback.
- Clearly establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations with the regional team to assure mutual understanding of desired results and evaluate performance, achievement of expectations, and desired results.
- Oversee team members performing inspections and preparing reports; execute these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work, when necessary.
- Approve time sheets and all time-off requests for direct reports, consult direct leader on personnel matters concerning direct reports.
People Management:
- Serve as the primary link between regional staff and leadership to assure understanding of company goals, objectives, and opportunities for improvement via actively consulting, managing conflict, and balancing alternative perspectives and cultures.
- Manage, schedule, and coordinate regional team of field engineers to ensure efficiency, high customer satisfaction and profitable persistency in collaboration with the field engineering supervisor for technical project planning and in response to project manager requests.
- Maintain the regional point of escalation by sitting in on escalation calls and identifying additional support.
- Work with peers and service department for overflow and load balancing across regions, including ad hoc emergency support coordination.
External Communication:
- Represent field engineering leadership in the regional market by creating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Offer exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Work with presales team to accurately estimate field engineering labor or review estimates from other regions for local variations.
- Partner with service department for consistent training and project handoffs.
What do we require from you? Required:
- 3-5 years of experience
- AVIXA CTS
- Experience leading a team
- Displays extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.
- Displaying composure, resilience and a positive approach to work.
- Seeking feedback, reflecting upon personal behaviors and looking for growth opportunities.
- Ability to visit multiple jobsites as needed.
Preferred:
- 5 or more years Field Engineer
- 2 or more years scheduling resources
- AVIXA CTS-I, CTS-D
- Bachelors degree

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
