Controls Software Engineer- (Azure Cloud)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Services Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud solutions. As part of our engineering team, you will leverage Microsoft Azure's ecosystem to build and maintain high-performing, secure, and reliable cloud-based applications.

**This is a Hybrid role with 3 days on-site at our Plymouth, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Develop scalable and secure solutions using Azure technologies such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications to ensure high performance and availability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development and deployment workflows.
• Stay updated with Azure's latest features and recommend improvements to existing cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for cloud-based applications.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Direct experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and cost optimization.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate).
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with databases like Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL
