Overview
Missouri Cancer Associates is a multi-specialty practice including medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and urology. We have 22 providers that service ten Missouri communities. Our main office is in Columbia. Through state-of-the-art medical technology, highly experienced physicians and nurse practitioners and quality patient care, Missouri Cancer Associates has become the premier Cancer Treatment Center in Mid-Missouri. In August 2022 we celebrated our 40th year of taking care of patients! We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Scheduler / Check in staff to join our team. Candidates should have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, a positive work ethic, and have a track record of working well with others in a team environment. We prefer applicants who have some customer service experience, but we are willing to train the right person. You must exemplify the values of our company and provide patients with the highest levels of care. Full Time / 40 hours per week (M-F, 7:30-4) Why work for us? SCOPE: SCOPE: Under general supervision, is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and tests in an efficient and timely manner. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff. May include outside scheduling and/or surgical scheduling responsibilities. Provide coverage at the check in desk as needed. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Responsibilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
