JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Career with the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic offers a variety of services to post 9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard and their family members. Therapist will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples and families.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic has a commitment to training, consultation and proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure. Therapist will deliver short-term treatment, 8-12 sessions. Therapists at this location have manageable caseloads, well designed work schedule and consistent clinical support.

The Therapist will support the Centerstone Mission, Vision and Values in delivering care that changes people's lives. Therapist will communicate clearly and appropriately; provides excellent customer service.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provide therapy to clients while maintaining good clinical judgement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Documentation
  • Care plans reviewed and updated.
  • Progress notes completed within current agency guidelines.
  • Responds to supervisory request for urgent care situations and coverage for vacant caseloads. This includes telephones and face to face intervention.
  • Keeps administrative supervisor informed of all potential issues that could impact the program or the organization.
  • Responds to needs of consumers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates good clinical judgment in decision making regarding consumers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to successfully utilize computer/electronic equipment and software

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

  • This position requires a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, or related field.
    • Other Master's level degrees may be considered to provide psychotherapy services based on a review of transcripts.
    • For master's degrees other than Counseling, Social Work or Psychology, successful applicants must have passed a minimum of 24 graduate level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling or other behavioral health related classes.

Years of Experience

Relevant experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

LCSW, LPC with MHSP, or LMFT required.

$74,400.00--$111,600.00
