THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 performs semi-skilled work and assists with other duties. For example, in this position you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. This position will also require you to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
  • One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
  • One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

  • This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
  • This position requires the selected candidate to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.
Additional Requirement:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
