The Account Supervisor (AS) oversees the day-to-day operations between the account team, the internal cross-functional teams, and the client. The AS produces high-quality results throughout the development of the brand plan by providing leadership and guidance to accomplish client goals. Agency Responsibilities
- Oversees assigned projects from creative brief development through deployment
- Collaborates effectively on the day-to-day operations with internal cross-functional team(s)
- Fosters positive internal relationships and ensure all departments are aligned on client deliverables
- Leads internal status calls and ensure proper integration of agency disciplines (scientific, media, art, copy, accounting, production, creative)
- Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned category and stays up to date on relevant brand/category information
- Manages all agency resources to meet client's marketing needs
- Understands how strategy and medical functions fit into the big picture
- Fiscal management of client accounts (prepare contracts, oversee job hours and expenses, budget for future estimates, manage client reconciliations) in partnership with finance and PM
- Maintains responsibility for tactical implementation to include print, digital, multimedia
- Participates in development of scope of work and staffing plans in partnership with PM and account leads
Client Management
- Engages with senior-level clients and continue building ongoing relationships
- Conceives, develops, and executes marketing communications and promotions, which match client marketing objectives and strategies
- Develops work orders/creative briefs, and provide timely estimates for projects to clients
- Provides prompt, well thought-out decisions in response to project demands/challenges
- Owns multiple workstreams and delegate tasks to junior team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Leads client status meetings to keep client informed of project status and finances
- Understands and operate within the established client and agency processes
- Provides insight on client reports showing updates on project status and budget allocations
- Manages client expectations around timing and feasibility
People Management
- Manages, motivates, and develops direct reports
- Delegates tasks to direct reports and oversees progress
