Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist
Fairfax, VA Pay From: $20 Per Hour MUST: Medical Assistant Diploma 4+ years of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical research or private practice setting 4+ years of phlebotomy experience Processing and testing specimens Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Assisting with exams and procedures Document and update patient information in EMR Act as a patient advocate The duties of the Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vitals and histories Perform ECGs Assists with procedures or examinations Draw blood Process and test specimens Prepare laboratory requisitions Maintain supplies and inventory Clean rooms and stations Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
