Our Packerland facility in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting shift maintenance, enhancing team skills, and conducting thorough electrical analyses. This position involves close collaboration with engineers on project installations, wiring, and troubleshooting tasks, in addition to scheduled asset maintenance duties.
This is a Monday - Friday day-shift opportunity. It will include an on-call rotation from Monday to Thursday and requires flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work. What You Will Do * Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical issues * Perform scheduled work both electrical and mechanical tasks * Reading and interpreting schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment * Review and update preventative maintenance inspections on machines * Ensure standard and best practices are being used * Execute and support the implementation of asset strategies * Identify areas where precision and improved maintenance practices will benefit reliability * Help to coach and mentor the shift maintenance resources to improve their electrical skills * Respond to unplanned maintenance issues, both electrical and mechanical throughout the plant Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * High school diploma or GED * Experience communicating with all levels of an organization, via reports, e-mail, verbally, in small/large group settings, and in a team environment * One or more of the following: * electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing or a military environment * currently enrolled in or possess a two (2) year technical degree in an electrical or instrumentation field * Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of industrial electrical/instrumentation equipment * Experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and programming PLCs, HMIs, servo drives and Variable frequency drives What Will Put You Ahead * A degree or certificate in an electrical or electro/mechanical field * Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance experience in the Paper Converting Industry * Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program * Experience with power distribution infrastructure At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
