Patient Care Director - Inpatient Services Nursing Administration Full Time 82369BR Job Summary This position is responsible for overseeing multiple acute inpatient units across (MS, Telemetry, Acute Rehabilitation Unit) across the two hospitals (St. Mary's Medical Center & St. Francis Hospital). It will also assist in managing the operations of smaller departments such as acute inpatient dialysis, wound care, infusion center, and radiation oncology during the transition period to UCSH Health. The goals of the departments will be geared towards the true north pillars & strategic initiatives of patient experience (creating confidence in the care we provide), quality & safety (improving clinical outcomes & working toward zero harm), creating an optimal work environment (people), & create strategy to sustain a financially viable organization through supporting growth activation efforts, access to care, promoting efficiency. From a nursing department standpoint, the role is critical in preparing the department for magnet recognition readiness through a solid infrastructure for shared governance. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The salary range for this position is $266,324 - $290,984 (Annual Rate). The acute inpatient units are licensed to hold about 25 to 30 beds depending on the service. The patient population is highly diverse, with complex medical-surgical needs and underlying mental & psychiatric conditions. St. Mary's and St. Francis hospitals are accredited as primary stroke centers, STEMI receiving, & CARF designated. It is the responsibility of this role to be survey ready & maintain if not elevate the level of accreditation. Required Qualifications
