Business Analyst, Sr.

We are searching for a Senior Scrum Master on behalf of our client. This is a 10-month contract assignment. (W-2) The person will be conducting complex operational analyses and leads medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit.

Senior Scrum master for Accounting Workstream, RTE coordinating and overseeing 3 agile teams responsible for project delivery to Accounting business partner. Work closely with IT leadership, business product owners, and program leaders to ensure delivery across numerous projects. Address escalations, capture and report on Agile metrics as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving findings to be presented to senior management, conducting statistical analyses, and coordinating with other business units regarding initiatives.
• Responsible for directing, mentoring and coaching the lower-level analysts.
• Conducting business process analysis, assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis to align technical solutions
• Conducting data and gap analysis
• Improving processes and policies in support of the organization by developing standards across all team functions
• Performing in a liaison role between leadership and across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred plus 8 or more years related experience.
• Scrum master/RTE for Accounting Workstream
• Requires familiarity with Agile principles and practices, Jira tools, project management mindset, and bias for action.
• Strong functional/process analysis focus, technical background and skills preferred
