Product Intergration Manager Summer 2025 Intern

Our interns work directly with division and corporate leadership to complete "real-life" mission critical projects. Last summer, our talented group of interns made invaluable contributions to our business and many of the projects they initiated are in use today. Altium is committed to providing our interns with valuable experience in a fun environment.

As Product Integration intern you will be responsible for working on critical projects for the Commercialization team qualifying new products.

• Assisting Product Integration Managers and Project Engineers

  • Communicating with suppliers for quotes

  • Communicating with plants to confirm equipment information

• Leading and managing small plant engineering projects

• Data gathering and analysis

• Development of new tools and processes for Engineering Deliverables that enable Speed-to-Market

• Local plant visits for inventory and data gathering

• General support for plant engineering as assigned

What does the internship experience look like?

As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the decision-making process. The experience will include:

* Mentoring
* Group Intern learning experiences and events (for summer interns)
* Business exposure
* Valuable project management experience
* Final "report out" with all other interns highlighting key learnings and summer experience

What will I gain from the internship?

You will gain an understanding of the Altium Packaging business and a wealth of functional experience to develop leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration, presentation & public speaking skills, and experience with various technologies. Our interns participate in projects that add tremendous value to the company. The skills you develop from this internship will serve you well in the rest of your education and your professional life.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree inmechanicalengineering, electrical engineering, plastics engineering, packaging engineeringor mechanical/electrical engineering technology

• Intermediate MSSuite skills inclusive of Excel and Word

• Experienced in software development using commonly available software tools

• Experienced in AutoCAD drafting software

• Juniors or Senior preferred

• Previous engineering internship experience preferred but not required

• Flexible schedule

• Energetic, hardworking, and motivated

• Possess strong problem-solving skills
