The Procurement function is constantly striving to improve our processes and generate maximum value for Altium. We are looking for a dynamic PROCUREMENT INTERN in our Atlanta office to support key business initiatives. The Procurement department strives to support company growth, and we are looking for an intern who is eager to learn and make an impact. This intern will report directly to the Director of Procurement. The intern experience will be designed to provide opportunities to work directly with the Procurement team on the following potential projects:

- Vendor Pricing Management / Audit Process setup
- Contract Management System Setup
- Sourcepoint Procurement Page Organization

What does the internship experience look like?

As an intern, you will have exposure to real projects and will play a crucial role in the data-gathering, analysis, and decision-making process.

The experience will include:

* Mentoring
* Group Intern learning experiences and events
* Business/Senior Leadership exposure
* Valuable project management experience

What will I gain from the internship?

You will gain a wealth of functional Procurement experience to call upon when you return to school, will fully understand our business and some of the ways that Procurement brings value, and will have created tremendous value for Altium.

You will gain valuable project management experience, exposure to our procurement function as a whole, leadership skills, the ability to influence across levels of the organization, presentation skills, public speaking opportunities, and the ability to apply technical skills learned in school and use them in a functional setting. The skills you develop from this internship will serve you well in the rest of your program and your professional life.

Qualifications

  • Rising Junior / Senior

  • Provide copy of college transcript in advance of phone interviews (when selected).

  • Must be available to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks, though 12 weeks is preferred (May-August)
