The position typically requires 4-5 hours per day, with the possibility of occasional full 8-hour days as needed onsite in our Redwood Shores, California office.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and detail minded Community Associate to join our team on-site in Redwood City, CA. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for employees' working environment needs, ensuring a positive and efficient workplace experience. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including managing reception duties, coordinating with vendors, handling shipping and receiving activities, and supporting office management with various tasks. The Community Associate will also play a key role in enhancing employee experience, creating awareness of available services, and responding promptly to requests.

Key Responsibilities

The position typically requires 4-5 hours per day, with the possibility of occasional full 8-hour days as needed onsite in our Redwood Shores, California office.



  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for employees' working environment needs, ensuring the workspace is clean and always ready for use.
  • Employee Experience: Assist with initiatives to enhance the working environment and employee experience, including planning and executing various holiday events.
  • Guest Services: Manage guest and customer visits, ensuring a warm and exceptional welcome.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendors and support the facilities and working environment.
  • Supplies Management: Develop a reliable system to maintain adequate inventory levels of office refreshments and desk supplies.
  • Request Management: Resolve ongoing and special requests in a timely manner, including assisting with outbound shipping requests.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Support all shipping and receiving activities with various carriers across multiple countries and receive packages on behalf of the company.
  • Office Support: Assist office management with various tasks as needed, including stocking supplies on a daily and weekly basis.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Administrative Assistant, or related positions.
  • Skills:


    • Energetic people person with strong execution skills and customer service orientation.
    • Experience in Shipping and Receiving is a plus.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated integrity, dependability, and responsibility.

The wage range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors in determining your pay. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $20.00-$25.00/HR. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
