Instructional Designer, Graduate and International Programs

As a member of the USC Gould School of Law's Graduate & International Programs office, our Instructional Designer will be adept at instructional and program design and will have expertise in developing and supporting online courses. This person will be responsible for assisting our faculty with the design of their online courses. They will apply their experience with sound instructional practices, the development of learning resources, and the delivery of courses via online delivery methods. They will have an in-depth understanding of understanding of online course platforms, instructional software, multimedia applications, and web-based educational technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, educational technology, or related fields. A Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology or a similar graduate degree in instructional design or educational technology preferred. Experience: 2 years of experience working in instructional design in higher education or a corporate environment is required, and 3 to 5 years of experience working in instructional design is preferred. Field of Expertise: Directly related experience supporting educational technology and/or hybrid and online teaching in a university or corporate environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding organizational abilities. Strong analytical, collaboration and negotiation skills. Knowledgeable about new teaching and media technologies in online education and instructional design and emerging trends. Job Accountabilities:
