The University of Arizona's School of Art invites application for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor in 2D painting/printmaking for the Spring 2025 semester. We are seeking a candidate with a broad background in the field who is prepared to teach courses in the subject at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The division of Arizona Arts serves as a gateway to visual and performing arts experiences, programs, and assets on the University of Arizona campus. Duties & Responsibilities |
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches 2D painting/printmaking and other courses according to qualifications, interest, and/or need of the school, as assigned.
- Advises doctoral students through the dissertation process, including document preparation.
- Participates in service and outreach to the School, College, University, community, and profession.
- Leads and collaborates effectively with colleagues on events including community outreach and engagement and recruiting.
- Attracts and retains students.

- Terminal degree in related discipline.
