Position Title: Construction Contracts Administrator Division: PBDC- Federal Group Location: Remote Manager: Dennis Carr FLSA Classification: Exempt- Salaried Employment Class: Full Time- Regular Salary: $80-110k Position Summary Potawatomi Federal Solutions is seeking a qualified Construction Contracts Administrator. This position is a remote position. This role entails overseeing all aspects of construction contracts management, including execution, compliance, and risk management. The Construction Contracts Administrator will ensure that all company construction contracting activities align with federal regulations and organizational objectives while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Contract Administration
- Oversee the administration of federal government construction contracts in accordance with federal, company, and Contracts Department policies, and provides support as appropriate.
- Interpret and advise subsidiary managers, department leads, and company executives on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and federal agency supplements guidelines as requested.
- Coordinate, review, and process contract awards, requests, modifications, amendments, and change orders, of federal contracts in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute all commercial subcontract support documents including, but not limited to, subcontract purchase orders, consultant agreements, non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
Contract Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including cost principles, invoicing, and reporting requirements where applicable in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor and document federal and subcontractor contract performance, prepare for audits and respond to requests for information and support from contract stakeholders.
Project Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed and organized project files, including contracts, agreements, correspondence, amendments, and financial documentation.
- Prepare and submit recurring reports as required to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and update contract-related policies, processes, and templates as needed.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution
- Identify potential risks and compliance issues and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts as appropriate.
- Resolve contract-related issues in coordination with subsidiaries, finance, and legal as appropriate.
- Advise on requests for equitable adjustments, claims, protests, and dispute resolution in accordance with federal guidelines and company policies.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers, finance, legal, and procurement teams to support seamless contract execution.
- Foster strong working relationships with shared services partners, subcontractors, and other external stakeholders.
Misc
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position may require occasional travel to project sites or company offices. Travel is expected to be 10% or less of a given calendar year.
Education & Experience Requirements Education
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
- Certification in DAU or FAI Contracting Back to Basics or legacy APDP/DAWIA Contracting Level-II or higher required. Additional construction focused certifications or coursework a plus.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated Federal construction contracts administration with expertise in utilizing the FAR and federal agency supplements. Commercial contracts experience a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple award ID/IQs, FFP, FFP-LoE, and other contract types applicable to construction projects required.
- Experience with government systems such as SAM.gov, Acquisition.gov and CPARS is required.
- Experience with Adobe PDF forms and processes required.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze risk and provide advice on mitigation strategies required.
- Experience operating Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Experience with construction contract management software such as PROCORE or similar systems a plus.
- Experience with DocuSign or other similar document coordination programs a plus.
