The Sexual Offenders Assessment Board (SOAB) is searching for a Clerical Assistant 2 to perform clerical duties to ensure the administrative operations of the SOAB are conducted efficiently and effectively.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support. You will be responsible for multiple administrative operations, including processing completed investigation reports, entering data into the SOAB's investigation and assessment tracking database, operating office equipment and maintaining confidential case records. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30am to 4:45pm, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time (2-3 days a week). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active JNET Criminal History and PSP PortalXL (CLEAN) Certificates within the probationary period and maintain the same for the duration of employment in this job.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
