Network Technician Job Description: We cannot support C2C for this opportunity * This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret or Top Secret) * Because an active DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required TEKsystems is looking for Traveling Network Technicians for a 10-12 month project that is slated to go through 2025. The project will be swapping out different networking equipment, including: Cisco Routers + Switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc. This project will be supporting the newly built DoDNET and helping get the agencies ready to migrate prepared for that migration by upgrading outdated equipment across the world. This is a role where they will be traveling 80-90% of the time, as there are 250-300 sites that 10 teams will have to get to across the country and some sites that sit overseas. Travel will be mostly CONUS but there is a chance there will be some OCONUS travel. An active passport would be a huge nice to have. The right candidate will have experience with: 1. 3-5 Years of Experience decommissioning + replacing + configuring Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs) 2. 1-3 Years of Experience Racking/Stacking servers or working in a datacenter environment 3.
