From your PASSION to ours

The RSPC Pretreatment Operator is a dual-duty position, including Microfiltration (MF) and Whey Pre-treatment. While working MF: independently runs the whole MF system and both milk skimming systems ("MF" and "HTST#1"). Manages the skim milk, sweet cream, and the MF retentate silos. Stays in close communication with the Milk Intake and the Mozzarella Make departments. While working the Whey Pre-treatment: independently runs the whey pre-treatment system, runs separators, and the whey cream UHT system. Manages the whey buffer silos. Stays in close communication with the whey plant.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include

* Operates equipment (MF system and/or Whey pre-treatment) and records all pertinent data on the record sheet.

* Takes necessary samples to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with Lactalis regulations.

* Work closely with the Quality and Food Safety Team to ensure the quality and specifications of the product are continually being met.

* Apply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed

Education/Experience

. One year experience in related field is preferred but not necessary.

Specialized Knowledge

. Applicant must be detail-orientated and reliable.

. Must be self-motived and eager to learn.

Skills/Abilities:

. Must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

. Be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day.

. Must be willing to work over 40 hours per week.
