Position Summary
Be the difference, put your passion into action - join Math Corps! Across the country, math skills are a challenge for many students, fewer than one-third of our 8th graders are proficient in math. Together, we can make a difference! As a Math Tutor, your crucial role will impact the lives of many children, offering vital assistance to those who need extra help in understanding math concepts. Immerse yourself in a local school, aiding students in grades fourth through eighth, offering guidance to groups of 2-3 students to provide extra practice and build skills. Your commitment during school hours throughout the academic year guarantees a significant impact. With training and on-site coaching, you'll be prepared to empower students in their math journey. Started in 2008, Math Corps has helped more than 55,000 kids in grades K-8 build foundational skills and get on track with math.
