Description

Summary: The Business Account Support Representative (BASR) is responsible for managing large, assigned accounts while supporting Outside sales Representatives and Operations Managers within their designated territories. This role also provides critical support to Sales and Managers by handling customer quotes, assisting with account management, and prospecting for new business opportunities. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the BASR must exhibit exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and organization, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers growth potential, including training opportunities toward Outside B2B Sales for those interested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage assigned accounts, responding promptly to quote requests and customer service inquiries.
  • Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to accurately quote large accounts.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure all customer issues or questions are fully resolved.
  • Handle inbound sales calls, providing support and solutions to customer needs.
  • Conduct light outbound calling to assigned accounts for relationship management.
  • Manage orders with a focus on accurate pricing and product availability.
  • Participate in new product training sessions as needed to stay current on offerings.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of Day Wireless's products and services to clients.
  • Possess a basic understanding of radio communications concepts and general wireless technology.
  • Occasionally accompany other Sales Representatives on sales calls for training and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required Experience:



  • Prior experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in high-level account management, customer service, telemarketing, or phone support.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and database applications; experience with NetSuite is beneficial.
  • Proven success in phone-based product or service sales.
  • Experience with technical product sales is a plus.


Education and/or Experience: One-year certificate from college or technical school in sales/communication technology; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
