Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Recommends changes in procedures. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision in key areas of focused expertise.
* Assist in development and implementation of various project types to potentially include: brand planning engagements, Message testing/payer market research. Field force tools development and training (e.g., account manager tool kits), Sales aids (both payer and
provider), Interactive marketing/sales aids
* Internal client presentations and deliverables
* Reimbursement assessments
* Account strategy
* Contracting strategy
* Work with other teams within the company to produce client deliverables
* Help coordinate activities for assigned client accounts
* Serve as Client Manager, grow existing client relationship
* Work onsite with client as needed to effectively manage the account and associated projects
* Ensure that internal functional area experts understand the vision for the brand and deliver appropriate strategies and tactics
* Identify business expansion based on organic growth within assigned accounts
* Contribute to proposal writing, contracting, client capabilities presentations and pricing
* Manage project/account budget
* Assist in the identification and development of changes in scope when project scope has changed due to client direction
* Approve purchases, contracting, expenses, and may manage vendor relationships
* Help to identify human and financial resources as appropriate to ensure objectives are accomplished
* Responsible for the overall timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all services
* Identify areas for risk within assigned accounts, based on quality, timeliness and flawless execution
* Maintain individual chargeability requirement
* Perform related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience in payer marketing within the pharmaceutical industry or a managed markets agency servicing the pharmaceutical industry. Advanced degree preferred (PharmD, MBA). 8+ years of supervisory experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of significant assignments. Crosses fields. Assignments necessitate advanced knowledge, sufficient to teach others
* Structured and well organized
* Demonstrated success within the payer agency environment or pharmaceutical industry
* Significant knowledge base of managed markets, reimbursement, and/or health economics
* Ability to interact with and influence clients to drive existing and future business
* Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a straightforward manner
* Strong interpersonal skills in order to develop sound, long-term client relationships and an ability to influence clients
* Ability to work well in a dynamic, matrix-organized firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence

Salary Range*
$121,000 - 186,230

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
