Pay Range:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $27 - $29 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

The schedule:

Expected work hours will be scheduled during day shift, Monday-Friday. The average workday can be expected to last 8 hours with occasional (partly weekend) overtime.



Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team, you will be part of a driven community focused on providing our customers with world-class solutions that help push our customers forward. The FUCHS Smart Services Technician III in Bucyrus, OH, is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client's industrial fluids including coolants, wash and other fluids.

Additional responsibilities include:



  • Facilitate and document daily meetings with customer team to review safety initiatives, potential non compliances, daily team objectives and individual roles.
  • Maintain inventory of chemical products and place order requisitions based on consumption trends.
  • Input data daily and generate performance reports.
  • Analyze process data to identify trends, outliers and corrective actions.
  • Communicate actively with customers, the team and other (remote) stakeholders to exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive improvement projects based on trends and data analysis.
  • Participate in Quality Audits with Support Personnel as well as assist/follow up in completion of Audit Corrective Actions.
  • Be able to occasionally perform hands on work as required including sampling, testing, lift truck operation, etc.



Qualifications we are looking for:


  • Associate degree and/or Supervisory Certification in an Industrial or Laboratory Field.
  • 3-5 years experience working in manufacturing environment related to lubricants and/or laboratory testing preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, blueprints, safety manuals and write routine reports or customer correspondence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to solve problems while working with site personnel and customers.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
