Position Summary This position will play a key role in the success of the Media Production Team by carrying out directives and assignments associated with the creation and delivery of content for technology enhanced education projects, distance learning classes, special event videos, live streaming programs, NYU Law marketing and public facing materials, informational videos, and all other projects that are assigned to the Media Production Department. This position will walk users through the technology and functionality and provide expert guidance and support. This position requires some weekend work and a varied schedule. This position will be responsible for: * Providing consulting services and coaching users on the technology, functionality, options. * Coordinating and overseeing the content creation and production process for distance learning. * Utilizing departmental resources to create and deliver content for various clients and projects. * Managing production schedules and project timelines. * Tracking resource and personnel allocations for all projects. * Managing the upkeep of all production and post production systems, and all software. * Assisting the manager with the day to day operation of the Media Production Department. Qualifications Required Education: * Must be detail oriented and adaptable to changing circumstances and shifting timelines * Must be team oriented and have the capacity to collaborate effectively with coworkers; must also have the ability to work independently. * Must have a basic understanding of networks, computer and device connectivity to networks, and some experience with ip based content creation and delivery solutions. * Advanced understanding of typical production and post production equipment used for broadcast, live-streaming, and other forms of content creation and delivery. * Proficiency in: Adobe Suite programs such as Premiere, and other non-Adobe post production software, Pro Tools, Wirecast, and other standard production and post production software and tools. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows OS, Apple OS and iOS. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Experience working with clients and customers in a professional setting. * Must have good Interpersonal and communication skills. * Must be proactive, self-motivated, and possess creative problem solving abilities. * Must be highly organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. * Expertise in studio and field production * Expertise in utilizing Adobe Suite software for post-production * Expertise in customer service and client relations * A strong interest in networked/ip based content creation and delivery solutions Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $40.458. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
