Summary of Position Functions

The Warehouse/Driver Associate assists warehouse management with manual labor tasks and various day-to-day operations of the warehouse and loads, delivers, and picks up materials/tools/Clean-up to and from job locations and/or suppliers.

Essential Position Functions

  • Ensures materials are assigned and delivered to the proper locations.
  • Ensures that company vehicles are maintained and informs manager of needed maintenance and repairs.
  • Participates in organizing and storing materials in the warehouse.
  • Assists in preparing fabricated materials for job locations.
  • Stops work that appears to be unsafe.
  • Follows all safety standards.
  • Requests direction and clarification from manager on goals and to ensure tasks are completed per company quality.

Education and Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain a fingerprint card.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to adapt to changes to planned tasks or schedules.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to tow up to a 20' trailer.
  • Ability to ensure loads are fully secured and safe for transporting.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time/workload.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.
  • Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
