The Director of Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) position serves as the primary liaison between IT and the organization's Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Research Institute operational areas leveraging the ERP portfolio of connected applications (including Workday, Symplr, GHX, StrataJazz). This high-visibility, high-impact position is accountable for managing multiple cross-functional teams related to ERP maintenance and development cycles, new implementations, and major organizational initiatives. The position has daily interactions with IT and operational (business) stakeholders, staff, and vendors, focusing on digital transformation and innovation for the organization's non-clinical areas. The Director provides leadership through a deep understanding of ERP/business systems and interdependencies, business processes and program management to translate organizational needs into system requirements, design specifications and solution roadmaps. The role relies heavily on governance, strategic thinking, and effective communication to ensure quality, productivity, functional excellence, and efficiency to execute strategic and operational objectives. This position manages a team consisting of product managers, analysts, and production support professionals and reports to the Administrative Director within IT. The Director position responsibilities include overseeing the activities of the department staff, ensuring quality, productivity, functional excellence and efficiency to accomplish strategic and operational objectives. In addition, this position is accountable for employee engagement, adequate staffing levels, budget development and compliance, staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment, coaching and counseling employees on work related performance, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment. This position also ensures training, monitoring and operations initiatives are implemented which secure compliance with ethical and legal business practices and accreditation/regulatory/government regulations. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* Oversees department operations, designated projects, schedules and activities as needed to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. Sets priorities and functional standards, giving direction to staff as necessary to ensure the best possible delivery of service and high customer/patient satisfaction. Drives department service standards and activities to impact department and/or system score for patient/customer-based satisfaction, through role modeling and fostering accountability. Serves and actively participates on various entity committees as a voice for the department. Utilizes understanding of Human Resources (HR), Finance, Supply Chain and other corporate business objectives, available technology, functionality, and departmental resource capacity to provide vision for operational activities of assigned IT Teams. Identifies opportunities to use or enhance technology for HR, Finance and Supply Chain applications for improved organization wide productivity and effectiveness. Develops and manages department operational and capital budgets, approvals, and ongoing maintenance of the department(s), ensuring operation in a cost-effective manner. Proactively identifies and plans for capital needs related to current equipment and future department projects. Ensures staffing plans and schedules meet department needs that reflect understanding of the importance of cost-effectiveness. Creates department strategies to achieve financial target and staffing needs, through optimizing productivity, supply/resource efficiency, minimizing incidental overtime and overtime percentage, and other areas according to department specifications. Produces executive reports about progress of assigned areas as it relates to high-level, customer and IT objectives. Makes recommendations to executive leadership to support long-term planning.
