Associate E/I Technician

The Associate Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will work hand in hand with experienced E/I Techs to learn the position. The goal is for this position to be prepared to fill vacant E/I Tech openings as they occur. However, this position does not guarantee the award of the next E/I Tech opening.

Essential Functions & Requirements:



  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Maintain all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain necessary logs and records.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent. (required)


Experience:



  • Minimum of six (6) months employment with HTS. (required)
  • Electrical experience. (preferred)


Competencies:



  • Good safety habits and good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be a "team player".
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Surfaces include flat, inclined, lifts, stairs and ladders.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
