Summary / Role Purpose

Ansys is looking for a solutions-oriented Marketing Program Manager for corporate, product, industry and solution marketing programs. Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders like Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Global Events, Field Marketing, and Sales, you support the planning and delivery, measuring, and reporting of marketing programs. Coordinating with cross-functional teams this role will manage the execution of marketing initiatives that drive growth and help to define the brand and industry program strategy and roadmap. This role drives collaboration, communication and visibility of programs, setting priorities aligned with the business needs and help teams measure success. In this highly visible role, you will combine your passion for successful delivery with your expertise in marketing to ensure we are growing our business today and innovating our offerings for the future.

Key Duties and Responsibilities




  • Provide technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of programs, projects, initiatives, and offer guidance.





  • Ensure that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities





  • Formally document and communicate outcomes of discovery, design, and strategy sessions





  • Communicate status and adjust timeframes and projects as needed





  • Address escalated resourcing issues with functional managers, as needed





  • Manage program-level risks and interdependencies





  • Strategically drive program direction, capable of managing at all levels





  • Inform planning and program activation using data-driven trends and insights





  • Provide program reporting and status to senior management





  • Hold team members and internal partners accountable to meeting key deadlines and milestones





  • Develop and manage marketing program frameworks for cross-functional strategic execution, including requirements gathering, business case creation, implementation, and improvements.





  • Create and enforce a unified calendar and milestone for programs; ensure resources are properly allocated





  • Promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders





  • Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork, drive escalation and resolution of issues





  • Manage marketing roadmap and backlog, proposing new strategies to meet goals, determining appropriate prioritization for projects





  • Manage all programs within scope and budget





  • Proactively identify and resolve barriers to project success, escalating risks when appropriate. Engage in continuous improvement activities.





  • Work with cross functional teams, including Marketing Operations, to calculate marketing project ROI targets and track progress to goal, adjusting strategies as needed to drive desired outcomes





  • Work with the marketing operations team to set up and manage campaign performance KPIs, providing top level and deep insight reporting





  • Maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization





Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience




  • BA/BS or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, operations, or related field or equivalent work experience is required





  • 5+ years demand generation, field and/or digital marketing experience at a technology/SaaS company





  • 3+ years of experience leading, interdisciplinary projects with direct responsibility for managing high-value project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation





  • Proven problem-solving skills





  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, knowing how to effectively build organizational support across multiple functions/teams





  • Proven success managing senior level stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities





  • Exceptional communication, organizational, problem-solving and relationship management skills; ability to manage and communicate with remote, distributed, and cross-functional teams





  • Experience using and creating data to measure results and track KPIs





  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment; motivated with a sense of personal accountability





  • Experience with project/resource planning tools such as Monday.com, CRM automation tools including Salesforce, Pardot, and budgeting systems such as Allocadia or equivalent preferred
