Job Description

Receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Drive/Operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Pick merchandise from slots.
• Load merchandise into trucks.
• Drop merchandise from 'reserve' to 'pick' slots.
• Prepare 'Via' merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise.
• Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.

External Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly and 70-100 lbs. occasionally each shift.
• Able to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Able to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker and successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Able to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) and the shrink wrap machine
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
