Second (Evenings) (United States of America) Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a Radiologic Technologist to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA.

Department/Position Overview:

Are you looking test your skills and learn new ones? Join us in the Radiology Department at our Level I Trauma Center! You will be exposed to a wide variety of studies and procedures with both inpatients and outpatients. Our cohesive team is known for our great teamwork. Join us in providing excellent patient care.

Job Requirements:

  • Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT, Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.
  • BLS

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications. Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Job Summary
