Digital Automation Senior Developer

Developers at Montefiore are an integral part of the ideation, development, value delivery, and ongoing evolution of intelligent automation to improve patient experience, enable clinicians to focus on delivering care, and provide the tools to allow operational leads to seamlessly conduct their work. As we are building this new function, developers are expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset to prioritize and define new experiences, work in cross-functional teams, and focus on change management to ensure optimal end-user experiences, adoption, and delivery of digital solutions. Our teams are directly focused on tangible solutions that improve patient access, reduce clinician burnout, create optimal operations, and thoughtfully deploy analytics.

Responsibilities include:



  • Leads automation development across various Lines of Business. Collaborates with the team to ensuring a thorough understanding and supports an accurate collection of documentation containing workflows, processes, business rules, data, systems, for a holistic view of the business. Implements and supports end to end automation solutions working closely with cross functional teams. Ensure processes are ready for automation; if not, identify and resolve with team members.
  • Design and Develop: Create and implement automation workflows per process design documents and other associated documentation.
  • Strategic: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
  • Maintains accurate documentation: Accurately creating and documenting workflows, processes, business rules, data and system integration are essential
  • Security: Follow system wide compliance and security standards for data and application integrity. Ensure the as is state and proposed automation state are understood, reducing the risk of errors and inefficiencies in development and final state.
  • Testing: Lead, participate and support all aspects of testing RPA solutions and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed bots, ensuring their stability and performance
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with team members on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits. Partners with IT leaders and teams to ensure progress and goal achievement.



Requirements include:



  • Proven experience as an RPA Developer, with extensive knowledge of UiPath and RPA principles.


  • Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, C#, or Python. Familiarity with SQL, API tools and relational databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and state-specific knowledge requirements preferred. Knowledge of the EPIC platform is a plus.
  • Skills: UiPath- Microsoft Power Platform- MS Office Suite - ServiceNow - - Presentation skills- Change Management- Organization skills - Agile- Critical Thinking- Relationship building
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.UiPath Academy certifications required



Strongly preferred:



  • We are first and foremost seeking those with product or related experience, regardless of industry, who want to address some of the toughest and most long-standing challenges in healthcare, the largest sector of the US economy. Knowledge of health care workflows is preferred but not a requisite.
