Scrum Master

Description:

Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2

• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, story/defect refinements, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and focused.
• Collaborate with product owners, development teams, quality assurance, and User Acceptance, to ensure a clear understanding of sprint goals and deliverables.
• Assist teams in identifying and removing impediments to ensure smooth execution.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team reflection and implementing actionable feedback.
• Promote and foster accountability within the team.
• Support the team in maintaining a healthy backlog and ensuring work is prioritized effectively, through refinements.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members, both onshore and offshore, to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Guide teams in the adoption and implementation of agile frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices and principles, as well as within the guidelines of IHG.
• Monitor team performance and provide insights to improve efficiency and productivity, through relevant metrics, and trend analysis.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification is required.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different time zones, and skill levels.
• Proven experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and driving team engagement.
