Locations Annapolis Junction, MD Job Description The Access Control Specialist (ACS) supports the security and integrity of a controlled facility or construction project by ensuring that only authorized personnel, vehicles, and materials enter designated areas. The ACS is responsible for managing the access control point, conducting credential checks, and enforcing site security procedures in accordance with the Construction Security Plan (CSP) or related security protocols. This role involves direct interaction with personnel, contractors, visitors, and delivery teams, requiring professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to established security standards. The ACS will support both day and night shift operations and must maintain constant situational awareness, monitoring activity within the access control zone and conducting routine patrols to identify potential security issues. The ACS must promptly report all incidents and concerns through established escalation channels and contribute to a secure, safe operating environment. Responsibilities:
