Your Role:

Under leadership direction, the Team Lead for LMP Ambulatory Scheduling & Registration will work to support, educate, and train Patient Service Representative's (PSR) and Customer Service Representative's (CSR).

Works with the manager to integrate the department's services in support of the Practice's Care Team Model. Ensures compliance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Functioning in close integration with other service team members, maintains a high level of performance in the department.

Makes work assignments, sets staff priorities, leads process improvement projects, assures staff performance with policies and procedures, and is responsible for orientation and ongoing training of all service representatives.

The leader fulfills all the functions of the PSR's and CSR's. The Lead is responsible for performing a variety of daily office functions including patient reception and appointment scheduling for a multi-physician hospital outpatient clinic at a minimum of 10% of the time.

The scope of responsibility may include functioning as an experienced trainer and first level problem solving resource for the representatives to maintain the highest level of skill. This position will have an overall responsibility of ensuring customer service and patient flow. If the Leader recognizes a problem, it will be brought to the Practice Manager's or the Office Coordinator's attention.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Call Center or Patient Access experience required. Two years of Patient Service Representative/Customer Service Representative experience preferred. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
