We are seeking a motivated and proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our Collaboration and Support Center Manufacturing Excellence Group and the GP Enterprise Advanced Analytics Group. These groups serve as Centers of Excellence, driving manufacturing and commercial transformation across Georgia-Pacific by harnessing analytics, information, technology, and actionable insights. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable learning on-the-fly and can lead efforts that touch multiple business units, technologies, and products. As manufacturing is 24/7, being able to work collaboratively with an international team and escalate/communicate/prioritize work is paramount. What You Will Do * Provide support to engineers by delivering data, processes, and insights to make real-time decisions * Implement solutions that improve the reliability and completeness of our automated data collection and pipelines. * Collaborate with operations, engineering, and data science teams to enhance modeling and decision-making capabilities. * Utilize Big Data, Cloud, and Analytics technologies to focus on asset health, optimization, and process improvement. * Drive sustainable value and competitive advantage through the strategic use of analytics and technology. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proven experience in IT operations within a manufacturing or related industry. * Excellent collaboration and partnership abilities with cross-functional teams. * Experience with programming, scripting, and web development tools - Angular, Web API, .NET, SQL, Powershell * Proficiency with Microsoft Office - namely Excel * Proven ability to create and maintain clearly written technical, user, and system documentation * A commitment to sustainable and responsible operational practices. What Will Put You Ahead * Controls, manufacturing, or OT experience * Experience with Cloud technologies namely Amazon Web Services (AWS) * AVEVA / OSIsoft PI platform or other time-series data historian * Understanding of the Purdue model, IT/OT network segmentation, and PLC/DCS communication * Experience in UI/UX graphical design * Project management and/or business analyst experience At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
