THE ROLE: Team Lead, Integration Engineer

Job Summary:

As an internal Team Lead, Integration Engineer with Presidio, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful operations of Presidio's Boomi Integration platform. This position is highly collaborative and combines customer and partner communication with the technical skills necessary for successful development and deployments. Of key importance is your ability to effectively interface with users and internal teams, as well as architects and developers.

The ideal candidate will have passion for problem-solving, analytical thinking, technical and quantitative reasoning skills. They will possess fantastic organization, written and verbal abilities, use their intuition to visualize and test improvements, and manage multiple projects.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role (within the Continental US) with no travel required.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and architecture of large-scale integrations involving on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Translate customer's business requirements into technical requirements and deliverables to create integration strategies
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and refine requirements of import or export files used in reoccurring data integration processes
  • Develop, test, and deploy integrations, including data capture, assessing data quality, data mapping, transformations, testing, and validation
  • Monitor integration performance and quickly triage and respond to production defects and service tickets
  • Document integration architectures, processes, and configurations
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
  • Initiate and manage cross-departmental communication to resolve any integration-related questions and issues
  • Maintain design documentation including Functional Requirement Specification


Required Skills:



  • Boomi development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one scripting language such as Javascript or Groovy.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc SQL queries
  • Knowledge of web services technology such as REST, GraphQL, SOAP and experience with JSON and XML data formats.
  • Experience with enterprise level systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce etc.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities


Additional Desired Skills:



  • Ability to learn new development languages and tools
  • Strong mentorship and communication skills
  • Experience in B2B Integrations with Trading Partner.
  • Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Sumologic/Datadog
  • Message Brokers knowledge is a bonus (example Azure Service Bus, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.)


Education and Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and/or military experience (Computer Science, MIS, or other STEM related field is preferred)



  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of related work experience within a technology capacity



  • Experience in a leadership role or has demonstrated leadership capabilities in an engineering role.
