Position Type: Full Time, Day Shift, 40 hours Weekly

Position Summary:

The Engineering Maintenance Technician 1 will Investigate building systems and document operational data; and prepare recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs, and evaluations. This work is performed under the Engineering Project Manager's general supervision and under engineers' technical oversight.

REQUIRED



  • 7 years related work experience can be substituted for education on a 2:1 basis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specific training in the area of expertise (engineering and/or maintenance discipline), such training may be at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.



Knowledge: Advanced current knowledge of seven specialties listed below, as well as the relevant local, state, federal and regulatory stipulations and codes.

Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, and excel; basic knowledge of project management, presentation, maintenance/work order processing, and design/drawing.

Basic knowledge of commissioning.

Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, on a college level.

Salary Range: Minimum 28.05 per hour - Maximum 46.31 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
