Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor (Career Advising) Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor (Career Advising) Hiring Department: UICOMP-HSEP Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1028064 Posting Close Date: 12/31/2024 The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a talented and enthusiastic medical educator for the position of Assistant/Associate/Professor (Career Advising). This position will work to further develop and deliver a comprehensive career advising program to help successfully guide students through their undergraduate medical education. Collaboration will be critical as this position will work closely with leadership and physician educators across UICOMP and the College of Medicine. Position Summary This position provides career advising across all four years of medical students. Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, this position will direct a comprehensive longitudinal career advising program for students through the Phase 1-3 curriculum, foster and maintain relationships with faculty specialty advisors, and provide individual career advising for third- and fourth-year students. The position will work collaboratively with departments across the College of Medicine Peoria. Duties & Responsibilities
