Position Summary |
This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day recruitment efforts for all Terry College Specialized Master's programs, including Master of Business and Technology (
MBT), Master of Marketing Research (
MMR), Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc), Master of Accounting (MAcc), and Master of Science in Business Analytics (
MSBA). The position involves effective problem-solving, interpersonal communication skills, and a high level of independent work in service to students, faculty, and staff to assist in the achievement of annual graduate enrollment goals. The Assistant Director of Recruitment will focus on long-term initiatives, like strengthening partnerships with academic advisors on campus and building brand awareness both on campus at
UGA as well as institutions within the region, including HBCUs. This position supports the implementation of data-informed and systems-based solutions to facilitate the execution of outreach, recruitment travel, and recruitment communication. The Assistant Director identifies and develops innovative solutions that enable admissions teams to maximize and optimize their use of Slate for recruitment and yield of qualified candidates. As a member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, this person will maintain general program and university knowledge and substantial knowledge of admissions processing procedures. |

* Assist in setting and implementing communication and recruitment strategies for Terry Specialized Masters programs
* Fully utilize capabilities of Technolutions Slate
CRM to market to, track, and manage prospect and inquiry pools
* In collaboration with program offices and Terry's Office of Marketing and Communication, researches, conceptualizes, designs and creates highly visible email campaigns and other print and digital recruitment material that align with the branding and messaging standards of the programs, Terry College, and University of Georgia.

Recruiting Events
* Represent the College and Terry's Masters portfolio at graduate school fairs and other types of off-campus recruiting events, traveling as needed
* Manage logistics and scheduling of information sessions
* Conduct general information sessions as needed
* Organize annual Terry Graduate Fair
* Maintain web calendars, Slate calendars, and shared internal calendars for upcoming recruiting events |

* Establish and maintain regular communication with Program Directors and Coordinators to stay up to date on program changes and handing off prospective candidates ready for the admissions process
* Troubleshoot system issues and provide support to other program staff; provide training to program staff
* Assist with "all hands-on deck" Terry Graduate Program events such as yield events and commencement
* Develop queries and reports, in collaboration with Terry
OIT when needed, to inform recruitment strategy and keep program faculty and staff updated on shifts and trends in the recruitment pipeline.
* Manages inventory of Terry-related merchandise and print materials used in recruiting activities, including researching new items, placing orders, maintaining invoice information, and coordinating approval with the Terry College Office of Marketing and Communications
* Assist in managing recruitment budget allocated to Specialized Masters programs
* Coordinates with Terry College Business Office on any necessary check requests and purchase orders for admissions expenses |
