HonorHealth is looking for a Cardiology Treadmill Tech to support the Deer Valley office. This clinic is made up of (8) Providers, MAs, other Techs, NucMed Techs Schedulers and Sr. Scheduler, and RNs. This team provides services for patients 18 years and older with pulmonary hypertension, and both vascular and structural heart issues. This team operates as one big team family with lots of experience and tenure. They promote positivity, cross-coverage and support in this fast-paced and busy environment. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a HSD/GED, a basic life support card (BLS card) and a basic EKG class with cardiology experience is highly preferred but not required. Responsibilities Job Summary Demonstrates competency necessary to provide comprehensive cardio diagnostic testing services, which may include all duties of the EKG technician/specialist including but not limited to nuclear stress test, collaboration with Nuclear tech Lexi scans, perform stress echo's. Is responsible for the recognition of abnormal results of all tests performed. Has knowledge and experience in cardio diagnostic testing. Serves as a resource to other departments, and the supervisor. Performs Holter monitor scanning and peripheral vascular testing included but not limited to segmental abi, exercise abi, standard abi. The staff member provides comprehensive care based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Provision of care is given as described in the HonorHealth Patient Care Policies and service or unit-specific Department Operating Policies.
