Assesses and manages projects in terms of truck and rail equipment, labor, length of project and cost; determines regulatory and technical aspects of the project, manages the project from start to finish; visits sites before, during, and after project to ensure safety and satisfaction to internal and external customers, and supports other project managers. Some College required. 4-year degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of waste management or environmental field experience with project management required. Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Able to efficiently operate various lift and off-road equipment employed by Rail Division a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. required. Knowledge of DOT, FRA, OSHA, and EPA regulations a plus. Strong leadership and organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts, must be able to travel up to 75%.
