Chemical Plant Operator

• Sunday to Tuesday: 7:30 PM to 8:30 AM
• Wednesday to Friday: 7:30 PM to 8:30 AM

• Manufacture liquid polymers by charging, feeding, monitoring, and controlling blend and reaction vessels according to established procedures.
• Operate a Distributed Control System and associated reactor support equipment.
• Handle various chemicals involved in product manufacturing.
• Transport materials using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean work environment and report safety hazards.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned under proper supervision.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a chemical plant or heavy production environment.
• Proven track record of adhering to Quality, HSE, and Process Safety policies.
• Ability to execute Emergency Response procedures pertinent to the role.
• Strong math skills and proficiency in using computers.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules.
• Capable of using a respirator and operating motor vehicles, with good manual dexterity.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemical irritants.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions for the duration of the shift.
