Description
POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing and Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in driving business growth by collaborating with sales and segment managers to enhance customer interactions, develop effective sales strategies, and identify new marketing opportunities. This position involves acquiring technical knowledge of products and services to provide comprehensive support to customers and internal teams. The specialist will engage in cross-functional collaboration, project planning, and execution of marketing initiatives, while also assisting in market analysis and promotional activities. This role is structured as an interdisciplinary experience, providing the candidate with extensive exposure to Ebara's business practices, products, and the semiconductor industry. This position was designed to provide a clear career progression and for a future career in Sales, Segment Management, Technical or Product Support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plans and implements projects that support the marketing function. Collaborates with the sales team to enhance customer interactions, assist in developing sales strategies, and contribute to achieving sales goals
- Interacts directly with product managers, as well as sales and service staff, to identify new marketing opportunities. Prepares regular marketing activity reports and addresses inquiries from the sales organization.
- Works independently or as part of a team to recommend actions, schedule and plan projects, estimate costs, and manage projects to completion. Identifies, evaluates, and recommends marketing opportunities that align with product line objectives.
- Provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs, and resellers. Supports public relations efforts by researching, writing, and editing press releases.
- Coordinates trade show activities, website development, and the creation of future e-commerce strategies. Tracks marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations.
- Complies with EBARA's safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. Maintains a clean and safe working environment that is compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to understand the Semiconductor Industry and Ebara Product Lines, covering areas such as sales processes, product marketing, and technical support.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in customer interactions and support the development of sales strategies.
- Segment Manager Support: Collaborate with Segment Managers to conduct market analysis, product positioning, and promotional activities.
- Technical Support Development: Gain knowledge of our products to provide effective support to customers and internal teams.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with various departments, including Engineering and Marketing, to facilitate understanding of product capabilities and market needs.

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent technical experience in an engineered product industry.
Experience
- Two (2) - Four (4+) years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using SAP, ADOBE, WordPress, CRM
- Sufficient PC skills to manage information and prepare reports and presentations without support.
- Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
- Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
