Are you a skilled Mechanic seeking a rewarding opportunity in Arlington, TX? Staffmark is looking to add a dedicated Mechanic to our growing warehouse team. This unique opportunity offers a dynamic work environment and ample growth opportunities. Pay: $32.49 per hour

3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 PM - 7 AM

Training Hours: 1st shift (8 AM - 5 PM)

Responsibilities:



  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Repair all production equipment as needed.
  • Conduct breakdown analysis and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Maintain general housekeeping standards.
  • Upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors assigned to the line.
  • Assist in changing lines for package changeovers.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
  • Work independently under limited supervision, managing documentation of work schedule and tasks completed.



Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess a range of basic qualifications, including 3+ years of related experience, and the ability to pass technical assessments that evaluate critical maintenance knowledge areas. They should have hands-on experience with mechanical systems like gearboxes, chains, motors, and bearings, coupled with the proficiency to read and apply knowledge from product manuals for repairs. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and reading mechanical drawings, they should also have familiarity with basic electrical systems, compressors, and ammonia systems. Exposure to conveyors, airveyors, electrical and electronic systems, as well as hydraulic systems, is highly desirable. Additionally, experience in high-speed production environments and with PLC systems is beneficial. Proficiency in preventative maintenance, reading schematics, and performing diagnostics is expected, along with the ability to work effectively in team-based environments and contribute to collaborative efforts. Lifting requirements are up to 50 pounds.
