Position Highlights |
The HSLopez School of Business Analytics is seeking applicants for a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position. The selected applicant will be expected to teach Business Analytics courses and engage in student experience enrichment. The preferred start of this position will be the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester (mid-August). The HSLopez School of Business Analytics is one of seven academic units in the Eller College of Management. Eller College is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, and distinguished faculty. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Teach the equivalent of six courses per academic year. Initial classes will be BNAN 276 Statistical Inference in Management, BNAN 277 Analytical
Methods for Business, and/or other undergraduate or graduate level classes in business analytics. - Maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
- Participate in service responsibilities at the department, college and/or university level.
- Mentor individual students and/or student teams, including those from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
Qualifications for Lecturer:
- Master's degree in statistics, economics, analytics, marketing, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- At least one year of teaching business analytics/applied statistics/machine learning experience in person at the college or university level.
- Must be available to teach in-person at the University of Arizona, in Tucson.
Qualifications for Senior Lecturer:
- Master's degree in statistics, economics, analytics, marketing, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- At least six years of teaching experience in person at the college or university level, including at least one year of teaching business analytics/applied statistics/machine learning.
- Must be available to teach in-person at the University of Arizona, in Tucson.

Preferred Qualifications |
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in statistics, economics, analytics, marketing, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience teaching large, in-person sections of classes.
- Experience teaching case-based/experiential learning classes.
